Rotherham Council

Dawn Rowley, DHRinterim's Director was engaged as interim Transformation and Strategic Partnerships Manager for a period of 6 months, covering for a vacancy at Head of Service Level until December 2007.

During the course of the  assignment, Dawn was asked to undertake a timely review of 2 of the Council's key Strategies - Information and ICT and Customer Access, whilst also overseeing the general management of a team of 17 staff.

The delivered outputs from this interim assignment were:

  • Revised draft Corporate Information & ICT Strategy
  • Updated draft Customer Access Strategy
  • Outline Business Cases developed to support major investment strategies alongside the Information & ICT Strategy document

and an additional piece of work undertaken whilst on assignment

  • Procurement review of Council's Financial IT System with recommendations on future fitness for purpose
