An innovative arrangement to enable 3 third sector organisations secure the expertise and interim resources to undertake tendering activities to provide financial sustainability for their organisations.
Based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and facing increased pressure on finances and sustainability, 3 third sector organisations presently delivering children's services in the Borough decided to work together to procure specialist expertise and skills in public sector tendering.
Over the course of 15 months, DHRinterim have been engaged to
- Assess each organisations' readiness to respond to public sector tenders
- Work with the Sponsoring Managers - and the Boards of Trustees - to develop a tendering programme focused on securing their current service provision, and new business to ensure sustainability and financial security
- Provide an interim bid-writer to help the 3 organisations prepare and submit a number of tenders over a short period of time
