Rotherham Mind - Artisans Village - feasibility study
DHRinterim have recently been commissioned to carry out a piece of work to establish whether there would be interest in and commercial sustainability for an Artisan's Village in the borough of Rotherham.
Bringing together artists of all disciplines; providing commercial opportunities to train, exhibit and sell their commodities; creating an environment for leisure activities centred around The Arts; providing employment and volunteering opportunities for people with mental health problems - are all aspirations from this exciting and unique proposal.
The initial, high-level feasibility study will be carried out between April and May 2008; its findings being instrumental in determining whether funding will be sought for the next stage of development - a business case and possible pilot phase development.
